As the festival season is nearing, many Hindus in Malaysia are gearing up to travel back to their hometowns and go on long holidays with their families in order to make sure their travel goes smoothly without any interrupting traffic. PLUS Highway has released a comprehensive travel time advisory for all those eager travellers to get the best experience in their travels. In order to address traffic issues, PLUS has released this Travel Time Advisory (TTA) Deepavali schedule that encompasses the North-South Motorway (NSE) from November 10 to 14.
As it has been reported that the festival season will have about 2 million vehicles a day that will be utilising the highway, it is crucial that meticulous planning be implemented in order to avoid any unnecessary traffic.
“This TTA schedule is provided to assist highway users in planning their journeys and enable PLUS to distribute traffic more evenly, preventing vehicles from converging at critical locations on the highway simultaneously. However, traffic flow also depends on unforeseen events such as accidents and other factors that may disrupt travel on the highway.”
– PLUS, Press Release
It is highly advised that drivers safely and securely travel this festival season to avoid any accidents. Road safety, diligence, and empathy for others who are also travelling will create a safer and wonderful travel experience for all who abide by the rules and conduct of travelling on the highway.
