The Sri Maha Durgai Amman Temple’s Kumbhabhishekam ceremony in Batu Caves Thiruthalam will be a full-fledged religious feast for everyone. The ritual will begin with elaborate pujas including specific rituals like the sacred Velvid fire, Yagasala Ninmanam, and Vimana Kalasha Sthapana Pujas, which add to the richness of the celebration.

The announcement of the kumbhabhishekam ceremony to be held on Sunday, November 19th, between 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. indicates the significance of this auspicious event. The participation of Tan Sri Nataraja, the President of Sri Maha Mariamman Devasthanam, adds a prominent leadership presence to the ceremonies.

The opportunity for devotees to deposit gold and silver, as well as the upcoming events like the Oil Sat and Vai Bhavam, adds to the spiritual and cultural significance of the celebration. The call for devotees to come and participate in the special pujas and the kumbhabhishekam ceremony is an invitation to share in the blessings and grace of Goddess Durga.

It is clear that this event holds a great importance for the community, and the involvement of the devotees in various rituals and ceremonies reflects the vibrant spiritual life surrounding the Sri Maha Durgai Amman Temple. May the kumbhabhishekam ceremony bring blessings, prosperity, and spiritual fulfillment to all the devotees and the community at large.
