Peramalata Arumugam Receives The Prestigious Asia’s Golden Globe Achiever Award Of The Year 2022-2023

Peramalata Arumugam has just been awarded the Golden Globe Achiever Award from the prestigious Asia Awards. Along with this award, she has also been the recipient of the Women’s Most Respected Early Childhood Education Brand Award from the Women Icon Awards. This brilliant Malaysian Indian woman is an entrepreneur who has made her passion in the field of education into a lucrative and beneficial business. She currently holds the position of managing director and principal of Smart Reader Kids Galeri Impian Alma Malaysia.

As a franchisee of Smart Reader Kids, an internationally renowned and recognised education programme for children aged 4-6 and the foremost choice among Malaysian parents, Peramalata has always placed the quality of children’s education before anything in her career. This ambitious woman had begun her career as an educator in 2001 by gaining a Diploma in Education and Teachers Training at the Maktab Perguruan Pulau Pinang. She had attained her Masters in Education at the Open University Malaysia and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education, majoring in Instructional Technology at the same university. To even further enhance her qualifications and business practice in 2024, Peramalata has pursued a few certification courses. She expresses that her new ambition is to open a special needs education centre, further proving her dedication to all children, regardless of their circumstances, to have access to quality education.

Peramalata expresses many qualities of a dynamic, visionary and an incredibly empathetic leader. She manages her teaching staff with outmost dedicated discipline and management while also giving the teachers room to voice our their own opinions and new ideas that will help develop their methods of teaching. This transformative leader states that she wants to greatly contribute towards growing the Malaysian educational field, as well as being an inspiration for her young daughter to look up to.
