Mrs. Malaysia World 2023, Vanishaantini MM Pellayrameas, will be representing Malaysia in the Mrs. World 2023 pageant in Las Vegas, United States. The 27-year-old will be adorned in a 3.8-metre-high and 4.8-metre-wide wau costume to compete for the Best National Costume in the international pageant. This astounding costume designed by Saran Anak Lagong has been awarded the Malaysian Book of Records title for the Largest Wau Costume.
Vanishaantini had expressed her outmost pride and joy in getting the opportunity to represent Malaysia on the international stage. She further stated that she hopes to showcase the exquisite distinctness of the Malaysian aesthetic. It must also be noted here that many other Malaysian Indian women can see great inspiration through Vanishaantini’s journey to international success.
Through much dedication and devotion, the young beauty queen has managed to carry this amazing costume, which weighs approximately 10kg. Truly showcasing that it is not merely beauty alone that is needed to compete in pageantry, but what is more crucial is an unrelenting passion for the craft and one’s own nation.
