A total of 395,870 candidates have enrolled to take the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2023 exam across 3,340 examination centers throughout the country. As per an announcement from the Ministry of Education (MOE), a total of 129,635 invigilators have been appointed to guarantee the effective administration of the examination.
Candidates are advised to refer the examination schedule for details regarding the date, time, code, and specific examination paper, along with accompanying instructions. The timetable can obtained by downloading it from the Examinations Syndicate (LP) website.
Candidates are urged to ensure they bring their identification documents and Examination Registration Statements with them when they report to the examination center. It is essential to adhere strictly to the established standard operating procedures and rules governing the examination process. This includes following any guidelines or regulations set forth by the examination authorities to maintain a secure and orderly environment during the examination period. Failure to comply with these procedures may result in consequences, so candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with and adhere to all specified rules to ensure a smooth and fair examination experience.
Additionally, candidates are encouraged to utilize the examination rooms hotline available at both the Examinations Syndicate (LP) and the Ministry of Education headquarters across the nation. Feel free to reach out to these hotlines for any necessary assistance or inquiries related to the examination process. As per the announcement, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has implemented appropriate mechanisms and measures, collaborating with relevant government agencies, to effectively address potential disasters, such as floods, that may arise during the examination period. The MOE is well-prepared to manage and respond to any unforeseen challenges to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations.
“MOE is committed to doing its best to ensure SPM 2023 examination is conducted smoothly and in an orderly manner. The ministry also hopes that all candidates will be in good health to sit the exam,” said the statement.
The Malay Oral Test is scheduled to take place between January 8 and 11, whereas the English Oral Test is set for January 17 to 23. The Malay and English Listening Tests are scheduled for January 29, and the written examination is slated to occur from January 30 to March 7. Additionally, the Science Practical Test was administered from December 5 to 7.
