NADMA: Number Of Flood Victims In Kelantan & Pahang Remain The Same

It is reported that the number of flood victims recorded in Kelantan and Pahang has remained unchanged since last night. As of 6 a.m. today, there are 48 people from 13 families in three relief centres across the two states.

According to the latest report by the National Disaster Control Centre of the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA), Kelantan currently has 26 flood victims from seven families at a PPS in Pasir Mas. Pahang has 12 flood victims from three families at a PPS in Maran, while an additional 10 people from three families are at a PPS in Temerloh.

The Drainage and Irrigation Department’s Telemetry Station has surveyed that Sungai Pulai in Johor Bahru, Sungai Golok in Tanah Merah (Kelantan), and Sungai Arau (Perlis) are still at danger levels. There are also several roads, such as Jalan Durian Mentangau in Dungun (Terengganu) and Jalan Sungai Sam to Dabong in Jeli (Kelantan), that are closed due to the damage caused by the flood.
