The grand finale of Miss Amazing Malaysia 2023/2024 took place on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the esteemed Jasmine Hall Banquet. The iconic and influential event, which celebrates the diverse beauty of differently abled women, was attended by notable personalities such as the legendary singer YBhg. Dato’ Zainalabidin Mohamed and his wife, Datin Angelina Asmawi, who were invited as Guest of Honours. Some other notable guests had been Adla Group Sdn Bhd founder YBhg. Datin Dr. Leezhassan, Anne Rajasaikaran, the Chief Executive Officer of Edumaax Education Group, and Director and Founder of Nothingheels Amy Chiew. This socially conscious and pioneering event is mainly sponsored by Ramesh Sothiligam and endorsed by Tourism Malaysia.
The event was not only focused on celebrating diversity in beauty but also other talented and remarkable individuals. To honour these exceptional personalities, the event organised a segment to present special awards to six incredibly individuals: Siti Nur Aisyah Shaimee, Sonya Danita Charles, Daniel Lee, Roycie Wong, Muhammad Zhariff Affandi, and Bernard Benjamin Nathan for their sensational and influential contributions to society.
In the end, among the 12 women who competed for the crown, it was the outstanding Miss Shanti S. Mugunen who won the ultimate title of Miss Amazing Malaysia 2023/2024. The pinnacle of the event was when the former Miss Amazing Malaysia 2019/2020, Sofia Lovi Ramasamy, graciously handed over the crown to the new pageant queen. Shani, who is a postgraduate student and doctor who has spondyloarthropathy, stated that she wants to empower women and individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities to live their lives to the fullest without feeling insecure.
Along with that, there were also titles such as Miss Talent, Miss
Photogenic, Miss Friendship, Miss Congeniality, Miss Popular, Miss Elegance, Miss Catwalk, Miss Confident, Miss Brave, and Miss Social Media that were bestowed upon contestants who showed great vigour and talent in those fields. The pageant contestants who competed in this ground-breaking beauty pageant are Hayley Kong Poh Yee, Sarmeshvari Tan, Rajvin Kaur Randhawa, Linges Warry Apparao, Santi S. Mugunen, Nurul Fatini Binti Aziuddin, Soffiah Zammil, Suganya Visaya Kumar, Khairunnisa Binti M. Naser, Nur Nazahiah Binti Nasaruddin, Fauustiina Rai Xavier, and Syafi Amani Azlan.
Founder of Miss Amazing Malaysia, Maynicca Devi Rajamanikam, who is also the first runner-up in Mrs India Worldwide Malaysia 2018, expressed the immense significance this space holds in advocating for and empowering women of all walks of life.

These finalists shared with me deeply moving sentiments, expressing how touched they were by this opportunity.
