Shruti Hassan is back with another hit song, this time for the upcoming blockbuster, Kadaram Kondan. The first single from the Vikram starrer carries the same name as the film, and has already gone viral.
Produced by Kamal Hassan and directed by Rajesh Selva, Kadaram Kondan is an action thriller that was mostly shot in Malaysia, and will feature Akshara Hassan, as well as Nasser’s son, Abi Hassan.
The tune Kadaram Kondan was composed by Kamal’s favourite music director, Ghibran, and has lyrics penned by Priyan and Shabir.
Shruti was taking a break from Tamil films, both acting and singing, to focus on her English album. She is now back, better than ever, as seen by her first track of this year, Dappava Kizhichan, for the film LKG composed by Leon James.
The singer made the announcement of the first single from Kadaram Kondan on Twitter.

Speaking of social media, Shruti’s Instagram is peppered with pictures of her filming rural Rajapalayam for her role in the upcoming film, Laabam. Shruti will be working with Vijay Sethupathi for the first time, and she is just as excited as we are.
