The festivities included a myriad of cultural activities, traditional performances, and authentic Tamil cuisine. In the morning, attendees engaged in a communal Pongal celebration, a traditional ritual involving the boiling of rice. This symbolic act was accompanied by prayers dedicated to the sun, emphasizing gratitude for the harvest and the abundance it brings. The collective effort and participation in this ritual not only highlighted the cultural significance of Pongal but also fostered a sense of unity and togetherness among the participants.

A diverse range of engaging activities was meticulously organized, encompassing both indoor and outdoor experiences during the Thamizhar Thirunaal Australia 2024 event. These activities included traditional sports such as uri adithal and kabadi, creating a bridge between generations by passing down the knowledge of Tamil culture and traditions to the next generation. These traditional sports not only provided entertainment but also served as a means of preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Tamil culture.
