SJKT Batang Kali Students Win Silver at the Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exposition

The Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exposition was held in conjunction with Thailand Inventors’ Day 2024, spanning from February 2nd to February 6th, 2024. During this event, participants had the opportunity to showcase their intellectual achievements, inventions, and technological innovations. The exposition served as a platform for individuals to highlight their contributions to the field, fostering a collaborative environment that celebrated creativity and forward-thinking ideas.

Participants in the exposition exhibited not only their exceptional talents but also their groundbreaking innovations, thereby not only elevating their personal pride but also instilling a profound sense of accomplishment in their families, schools, and teachers. The display of creativity and ingenuity during the event reflected not just individual achievements, but also the collective efforts of the educational institutions that nurtured and guided them.

Approximately 800 teams actively participated in the five-day-long International Intellectual, Innovation, and Technical Science Fair. Among these teams, the remarkable achievement of setting a record during the event was accomplished by the students from SJKT Batang Kali. The participation of 800 teams underscores the scale and significance of the fair, indicating a global gathering of intellect, innovation, and technical prowess.

Three students from this school achieved international recognition by winning silver medals. Their noteworthy accomplishment was realized through their participation in a competition where they demonstrated their skills in an innovative manner: by creating charcoal briquettes from banana peels. Jeevaghan Ramannathan(12 years old), Haasinisri Ramakrishnan(12 years old), and Samyuktaa Vasanthan(10 years old) comprise the triumphant team that secured victory.

The students’ success in securing silver medals on the international stage reflects their exceptional talents and dedication. The recognition these students received on an international level not only brings pride to the individuals themselves but also to their school. It serves as a testament to the quality of education and support provided by the school in nurturing skills and fostering an environment that encourages innovative thinking.

The successful accomplishment of the students was made possible through the unwavering support and guidance of Mr. Perumal Raman, the Principal, and Mrs. Sivagami Sundari Thiruvengadam, the Vice-Principal of Extracurricular Activities. Their encouragement and dedicated training were instrumental throughout the entire competition.
