The journey of these young geniuses, comprising two groups – Team Advance Portable Sanitizer (APOTIZER) and Team Plant Booster Pills (BOOST PILLS), has been nothing short of extraordinary. Led by their teachers and mentors, they embarked on a transformative path, fueled by curiosity, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

In the realm of innovation, Team APOTIZER, consisting of Sabbrieanne D Ramis, Hayshica Karnagaran, Geethasreni Ganesh, Kuloushana, and Nivvedha Gobinath, emerged as trailblazers. Their creation, the Advance Portable Sanitizer, not only secured the Silver Award but also garnered special recognition from Vietnam, Egypt, Pakistan, and the Philippines. Similarly, Team BOOST PILLS, comprising Puvithra Uthaya Kumar, Lakshana Kandasamy, Tassvina Vijayan, Yarshini Balu, and Dipika Raj Thanaraj, clinched the coveted GOLD Award for their innovative Plant Booster Pills. Their invention promotes sustainable agriculture and earned special accolades from Poland, Pakistan, and the Philippines. Their success exemplifies the transformative potential of science and technology in fostering environmental sustainability and agricultural innovation.

The genesis of their remarkable success traces back to the PIID Competition 2023 held from May 16 to 18, where the group christened “MONTIZER” secured a silver medal, setting the stage for their future triumphs. Subsequently, at the SIRIM Si2TE Competition 2023 on July 11 and 12, the “MONTIZER” team clinched a gold medal, foreshadowing the extraordinary feats yet to come.

In October of the same year, under the banner of “APOTIZER” and “BOOST PILL,” two teams emerged victorious at the EUREKA 2023 Competition hosted at UniKl MSI, Kulim. The “APOTIZER” team, crafted the Advance Portable Sanitizer, garnering accolades not only domestically but also from international arenas including Vietnam, Egypt, Pakistan, and the Philippines. Their invention underscores their ingenuity in addressing global health challenges.

The accolades earned by these students stand as a testament to their ingenuity, creativity, and dedication. However, behind every triumph lies a tapestry of support and encouragement. The unwavering commitment of their parents, who sacrificed time and resources to nurture their children’s talents, is commendable. Their presence alongside the young participants in Bangkok symbolizes the depth of parental love and support, which is the bedrock of their success.

Moreover, the guidance and mentorship provided by Mr. Sureendran Gopala Krishnan from Break Barriers Enterprise – Young Scientists Program have been instrumental in shaping the students’ journey. His dedication to nurturing young minds and fostering a culture of innovation has undoubtedly played a pivotal role in their achievements.

The school’s Headmistress, Pn Gokilawani Sanmogom, the dedicated teachers, and the Parents Teachers Association (PTA/PIBG), deserve special recognition for their unwavering support and guidance. Their collective efforts in securing sponsors, navigating bureaucratic hurdles, and providing motivational backing have been indispensable in enabling the students to realize their full potential on the global stage.
