Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, the esteemed spiritual leader and founder of the Isha Foundation, underwent urgent brain surgery at a private hospital in the city. The operation, conducted on March 17, was prompted by the discovery of bleeding within his skull, necessitating immediate medical intervention.

A team of highly skilled medical professionals led the intricate procedure, including Dr. Vinit Suri, Dr. Pranav Kumar, Dr. Sudheer Tyagi, and Dr. S. Chatterjee. Their collective expertise enabled the successful completion of the emergency surgery, which aimed to address the critical issue at hand.

Following the surgery, Sadhguru was successfully taken off the ventilator, marking a significant milestone in his recovery journey. Updates provided by the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital indicate positive progress in his condition, with improvements observed in his brain function, overall physical state, and vital signs.

The urgency of the medical intervention was underscored by Sadhguru’s prolonged struggle with severe headaches over the past four weeks. Despite enduring intense pain, he continued to fulfil his daily responsibilities and social engagements, including presiding over the Maha Shivaratri ceremony on March 8, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to his spiritual duties.
