“Embrace Prosperity: Ring in the Indian New Year with Astro!”

“Embark on a cinematic journey this Indian New Year as Astro unveils a dazzling array of local gems and international masterpieces, igniting your senses with vibrant premieres from around the globe.”

ASTRO will be celebrating the upcoming Indian New Year with an amazing lineup that includes a wide range of entertaining game programs, Indian award ceremonies, and telemovies, ASTRO will be kicking off the Indian New Year in style. This year, on April 14, we celebrate Chithirai Puthandu, the Tamil New Year. Vaisakhi falls on the same day as Vishu Ashamsakal, the Malayalee community’s New Year, which falls on April 15. For the Indian community, this holiday season is especially significant because it represents fresh starts, adventurous endeavors, and a resurgence of hope.

“The new year is a fresh start for those who are celebrating. Astro therefore revealed such a hit.
For the upcoming Indian New Year, we have telemovies and dramas, educational series, variety shows, live sports, musical performances, films, and much more,” according to Prem Anand, vice president of business for Astro’s Indian operations. This April 4 Astro New Year’s celebration at the City Meridian Convention Center, Serdang drew a large number of local celebrities

The local Tamil premieres of the live educational talk show Tamil Kalvi; the live horoscope show Rasipalan; the astrology show Chithirai Special Rasipalan; and public speaking; the competition Tamil Amutham Grand Finale; the award show MICA Awards; the action film Kalluri Rascals; and more on Astro Vaanavil (Ch. 201) are among the other things he mentioned that customers can anticipate. Additionally, viewers can watch telemovies, romance comedies like Kaadhal Mattum Pothum and Rubanin Jaanu, romance, live sports, talk shows, live infotainment like Saravedi, live medical, Vanakkam Doctor motivational show, Sinthanai Kalam, and thriller suspense series like Maaya Regai on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202).

This year, Astro is providing viewers with a delightful array of worldwide and locally produced shows to keep them occupied during these festive times. Thus, unwind and enjoy the top TV series. Watch the thriller-suspense series Maaya Regai on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202). This tale is based on the enigmatic “Angai Chuvadi,” a book that was introduced to Malaya in the late 1800s and contains prophecies and changes to the future. The captivating premise of the story revolves around how the book affects the lives of those in its immediate vicinity.

SD Puvanendran is the director of this series. On April 22, from Monday to Thursday at 9 p.m. on Astro Vinmeen (Ch202), this starring our local stars James Devan Arokisamy, Thasha Krishnakumar, Moon Nila, KS Maniam, Kavitha Thiagarajan, and more will air. In addition, this inspirational program offers viewers a life-changing experience with well-known life coach and speaker Prof. Dr. Kader Ibrahim. The program’s goal is to inspire and enable viewers to achieve new and higher levels of success.

With the help of this new live educational talk show, which caters to learners of all levels and has expert teachers who will delve into crucial vocabulary, grammar, and cultural insights, those who are excited about learning Tamil may now effortlessly educate themselves. This educational show, which aims to inspire and empower viewers, will be hosted by Meena Kumari and premiere on April 17 at 6 p.m. on Astro Vanavil (Ch 201).

Watch Vinmeen Arangam, a sports chat show featuring football legend Subra and presented by Nevaashan Ganeson. An eagerly awaited sports conversation program that provides analysis of past, present, and future domestic and international matches. The presenter will predict the winning team and prospects and offer fan-based commentary.

“Saravedi Night, an infotainment talk show that focuses on current affairs, social culture, finance, education, and the well-being of the Malaysian Indian community,” stated Director Naveen.

Another Chithirai Puthandu Special is Kaadhal Mattum Pothum, a romantic comedy telemovie in which Abilasha and Hari, who met at an exhibition and fell in love, look for one another to declare their affections to. On the other hand, they have a dilemma over their family’s acceptance of their romantic relationship. The main plot point is whether or not they both come together.

Captivating Indian Cinematics

Customers can enjoy Telugu films, comedy horror, and Chandramukhi 2 on the foreign front. Unaware that their actions will revive the centuries-old rivalry between the classical dancer Chandramukhi and the Vettaiyan Raja, an affluent family facing many difficulties finds solace in prayer to their god. This film, which stars Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut, and Vadivelu and was directed by the renowned filmmaker P. Vasu, will premiere on Astro vanavil (Ch 201) on April 9 at 11 a.m.

On April 9 at 9 p.m. (Ch 201), Jigarthanda DoubleX, featuring Raghava Lawrence, SJ Suryah, and Nimisha Sajayan, will captivate viewers.Date with Yuvan, a musical production, will be aired on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202) on April 13 at 11 a.m. for fans of well-known music director, composer, and lyricist Yuvan Shangkar Raja.Kal Ho Naa Ho, a Hindi romantic comedy film, and Nalpathiyonnu, a Malayalam drama romance film, both air on Astro Vaanavil (Ch 201).

Additionally, Thookudurai, a comedy horror film, and Singapore Saloon, a comedy thriller, are available to Astro viewers on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202). Customers may also watch drama films like Chithha on Astro Vellithirai (Ch 203); drama films like Kannagi and drama action films like Fight Club on Astro Thangathirai (Ch 241); debate shows like Tamil New Year Sirappu Pattimandram and action flicks like Bhagavanth.

Customers have access to Astro GO, On Demand, and sooka to watch all of the Indian New Year premieres at any time and from any location.
