Dubbing artist Raveena tweeted her displeasure in not finding the dubbing artistes’ name in the credit list of ‘Ayogya’.
When dubbing artiste Raveena tweeted her displeasure in not finding the dubbing artistes’ name in the credit list of Ayogya, it opened up a discussion of how the film industry discriminates among its technicians.
Raveena had lent her voice for the female lead Raashi Khanna in Ayogya. Her tweet in this regard was: “I couldn’t find dubbing artists credits in d end title of #ayogya ,was happy to see the mess annas, drivers, painters, carpenters, sound enggs, studios, coordinator n all others getting their respects n credits. Sad to see our category alone left out most of the time. Kaathirupom.”

Directed by Venkat Mohan, Ayogya the Tamil remake of Jr NTR’s Temper and has Vishal playing the hero and Raashi Khanna its female lead. In the film, Vishal plays corrupt cop Karnan who turns a new leaf after a rape incident. The film has been produced by B Madhu under his banner Light House Movie Maker. The supporting cast included director KS Ravikumar, Sachu, Vamsi Krishna and Pooja Devariya.
It is quite sad when people who contribute to a project do not get credited. I hope this changes with time.
