Every year, Vijay has made it a tradition to celebrate auto drivers in Tamil Nadu in the beginning of May for Labour Day. Due to the recent Lok Sabha election frenzy, this year’s celebration was pushed forward to end of May.
The Theri actor who could not personally attend the event due to his shooting commitments, ensured his team organised the event in a smooth manner to honour auto drivers. The chief guest at the event was Bussy Anand, the Secretary of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam.
