AstraZeneca Claims their Covid Vaccines May Result in Uncommon Side Effect

For the first time, according to a court filing, the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca (AZ) has claimed that the rare blood clotting side effect associated with its COVID-19 vaccination is possible.

The first complaint was brought last year by a person who suffered lifelong brain damage as a result of a blood clot and brain hemorrhaging that stopped him from working after receiving the vaccine in April 2021. According to the medical report, his health condition was so bad that the doctor had to tell his wife three times that her husband had no chance of surviving.

AZ disputed the statement; nevertheless, it has proven several things in court filings since February 2021 that its vaccine may, in extremely rare circumstances, cause TTS.

Thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome, or TTS for short, is a medical disorder that causes low platelet counts and blood clots in its victims. Usually, platelets aid in low platelet counts and blood clots in their victims.

the clotting of blood. It was once known as vaccinated-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT). It was noted as a possible side effect of the injection and was formerly known as immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT) caused by vaccination.

Scientists initially discovered a relationship between the vaccine and a new condition known as vaccine-induced immune thrombocytopenia and thrombosis (VITT) in March 2021, shortly after the COVID-19 vaccine was introduced. Lawyers for the claimants say that VITT is a subset of TTS, but AstraZeneca does not appear to understand the word.

Given that 51 cases with claims totaling about £100 million (RM512 million) have been brought before the UK High Court, lawyers believe the admission may open the door to a multi-million dollar settlement. According to reports, the pharmaceutical company is currently being sued because the vaccine, which it co-developed with Oxford University, may, in several cases, result in death or serious injury.
