‘Siragu’ is an upcoming film written and directed by lyricist and poet DR. S. Revathi (aka Kutti Revathi).
She has written lyrics for movies like Aruvi, Maya and notably from Maryan ( ‘Nenje Ezhu’ and ‘Enga Pona Raasa’).
Harikrishnan, who is well know for his performance as ‘Johnny’ from the film Madras, will be playing the main lead. He was also part of the critically acclaimed films, like Pariyerum Perumal and Rajinikanth starrers Kabali and Kaala.
This is the actor’s first film in a lead role. The female lead of the film is played by Akshita.
The audio of the film will be launched by the acclaimed director Mani Ratnam on June 15th. With the songs being released by Mani Ratnam, the team would be getting a boost and support from the industry.
The cinematography of the film is done by ‘Pyaar Prema Kaadhal’ fame Raja Bhattacharjee and V.S Arun Kumar has handled the cuts. The film features music by Arrol Corelli.
