Reports are swirling in the film industry about an ambitious move by Kamal Haasan’s and director Shankar’s sequels, “Indian 2” and “Indian 3.” Whispered among insiders is the exciting notion that both films have been shot at the same time, a strategy that, if true, could revolutionise the franchise and delight fans with back-to-back releases.

Currently, speculation is rife that the team is meticulously crafting the trailers for these epic continuations. The buzz suggests that the “Indian 2” trailer, said to be packed with high-octane action, might be unveiled next month, setting the stage for what promises to be a commercial success. Adding fuel to the excitement, there are whispers that the “Indian 3” trailer will be strategically attached to the end of “Indian 2” screenings in theatres, teasing the audience with a glimpse of what’s to come and hinting at a tentative release date.

If the chatter is to be believed, “Indian 2” is poised for a grand release on July 12, while “Indian 3” could potentially hit theatres next year, extending the saga and keeping the excitement alive.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is reportedly deep into filming “Thug Life” with director Mani Ratnam. This project is said to feature a stellar cast, including Silambarasan, Trisha, and Ashok Selvan, with the legendary A.R. Rahman composing the music.
