At the 77th Cannes Film Festival, actor and Movie Artist Association President Vishnu Manchu is there to see the teaser premiere of “Kannappa.” Alongside him were his spouse, Viranica Manchu, director and choreographer Prabhu Deva, and producer M. Mohan Babu.
Actor Vishnu Manchu is currently at the Cannes picture Festival to promote his upcoming epic action picture, ‘Kannappa.’ The renowned Olympia Theatre on the French Riviera has been set to host the teaser premiere. His spouse, Viranica Manchu, along with producer M. Mohan Babu, director Prabhu Deva, and choreographer were in attendance.
The quartet attended the premiere of Kevin Costner’s ‘Horizon:An American Saga,’ which also stars Costner and Sienna Miller.Long after the Grand Theatre Lumiere’s credits rolled, the three-hour epic—which is the first in a projected four-part series—earned an amazing 11 minutes and 40 second standing ovation.
With his striking presence and custom black tuxedo from Atelier Viranica, Vishnu Manchu attracted notice.The other two men, Prabhu Deva and M Mohan Babu, were dressed similarly to him in black tuxedos and bow ties.Viranica Manchu, meanwhile, was colorfully attired. She accessorized herself with a long, painted skirt and a white top.
Discussing the release of the much-anticipated film’s teaser at Cannes, Vishnu told IANS, “We are thrilled to unveil the teaser of ‘Kannappa’ on the esteemed stage of the Cannes Film Festival,” adding, “Cannes serves as the ideal platform to showcase our production to a global audience.” Through introducing our rich Indian history to a global audience, we hope to educate people all around the world about the timeless stories and rich cultural legacy that our film captures.
Alongside Akshay Kumar are Telugu superstar Prabhas, Malayalam megastar Mohanlal, and Shiva Rajkumar, who plays the same role in Kannada cinema.In the meantime, “Kannapa” is a mythological fantasy that centers on a dedicated devotee of Lord Shiva. The Mukesh Kumar Singh-directed movie is expected to hit theaters in 2025.
