In a much-anticipated move, the teaser for Vijay Antony’s upcoming film, “Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan”, was unveiled by the cast and director yesterday. The film is directed by Vijay Milton, well known for his films like Goli Soda, 10 Endrathukkula.
features an enigmatic Vijay Antony in the lead role, promising an engaging blend of mystery and action. Actress Megha Akkash plays the female lead role in it.
The teaser introduces viewers to an unnamed character played by Vijay Antony, whose past appears to be shrouded in mystery. As the teaser progresses, intense action sequences come to the fore, involving key characters portrayed by Sarath Kumar and Sathyaraj, hinting at a larger, more intricate plot at play. The film also features other South Indian Stars like Telugu Actor Murali Sharma , Saranya Povannan and many more. The cast of Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan is huge which makes the film look more interesting.
Not only is Vijay Milton directing, but he is also taking on the role of cinematographer, ensuring a visually captivating experience. Adding more spice to the film, Vijay Antony himself has composed the soundtrack, further showcasing his talent.
“Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan” is being produced by Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, Pradeep B, Pankaj Bohra, and S Vikram Kumar under the banner of Infiniti Film Ventures. This action thriller is one of several projects Vijay Antony has in the pipeline. Other upcoming titles include “Valli Mayil”, “Hitler” , “Khakhee” and “Agni Siragugal” which are all at various stages of production.
Captain Vijaykanth was in talks to feature in the film before his demise
During the teaser launch event, producer Dhananjayan shared an interesting tidbit about the film’s connection to the legendary Captain Vijayakanth. Initially, the team hoped to feature Vijayakanth in the film despite his health issues. After his passing, they sought his family’s permission to include his likeness through AI technology, but due to various challenges, they ultimately approached Sathyaraj to fill the role. Sathyaraj, a revered actor in his own right, graciously agreed , adding a significant layer of depth to the film.
Vijay Anthony’s last appearance
Vijay Antony’s most recent appearance was in the romantic comedy “Romeo,” directed by Vinayak Vaithianathan and co-starring Mirnalini Ravi.
