Kamaraj made his directorial debut with the sports drama Kanaa, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Aishwarya Rajesh. He then directed Nenjuku Needhi, the official Tamil remake of the Hindi film Article 15. Kamaraj’s OTT debut came with the legal drama web series Label on Disney+ Hotstar, featuring Jai in the lead role, focusing on societal identity struggles.
