Kannada actor Yash and Nayanthara are collaborating for the first time in Toxic, A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, which also stars Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, and Shruti Hassan. As a pan-Indian production, the movie is currently in the midst of production, and we have learned some exclusive insights about its setting.

According to a source with direct knowledge of the developments, “The movie takes place between the 1950s and 1970s. A whole universe called Toxic has been developed, which is an enormously realistic recreation of that historical period.

The audience would be astonished by the amount of detail on this set, which is located on the outskirts of Bangalore.” According to the hype, the movie is an action movie with the drug mafia in the background.

Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, was announced in December 2023 and is set for release on April 10, 2025.According to reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan will make her South debut as Yash’s sister in the film.

The actor, however, ultimately decided not to continue with the movie and was replaced by Nayanthara, who made her Bollywood debut in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan last year.

The movie also had the name of actor Sai Pallavi, but it was subsequently revealed that Haasan had taken her place to play Yash’s romantic interest.
