Soori has established himself as one of the most talented actors in Kollywood. He skillfully seized the opportunity provided by Vetri Maaran to play a lead role in the film “Viduthalai,” which marked a pivotal moment in his acting career. Soori’s outstanding performance in the movie has cemented his status as a promising actor capable of taking on lead roles in the future.

Soori has dedicated two decades of unwavering effort and perseverance to reach his current standing in the film industry. He began his cinematic journey with an uncredited role, but has now emerged as a promising lead actor. His next starring role is in “Kottukkaali,” a film that has recently won an award at the New Directors/New Films Festival (FEST). The filmmakers have proudly announced this prestigious achievement.

“Kottukkaali” has been honored with the Golden Lynx Award for Best Feature Film at the Portugal International Film Festival. Although it has yet to be released in theaters, the film has already garnered critical acclaim. To celebrate this achievement at the FEST Festival, the filmmakers have unveiled a new poster.

“Kottukkaali” was previously premiered at both the Berlin and Transilvania International Film Festivals, where it garnered significant acclaim from audiences. The film’s consecutive successes at these prestigious festivals highlight its quality and have raised expectations even higher for its upcoming release.

“Kottukkaali” is directed by PS Vinoth Raj, who nearly achieved an Oscar nomination with his previous film “Pebbles” a few years ago. It appears that PS Vinoth Raj has crafted “Kottukkaali” even more masterfully than his earlier work, with the film poised to reach new heights. The movie stars Soori and Anna Ben in the lead roles, with Kalaiyarasan also playing a significant part.
