Vikram is concentrating on his son’s debut film ‘Adithya Varma’ and is keen on having it released this year.
It was announced several months ago that Vikram will be playing the title role in the historical Mahavir Karna.

Incidentally, the film was shot as Varma by director Bala but the project was scrapped soon after the entire shooting was wrapped up.
It may be noted here that it is a high budget movie that will be made in Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil simultaneously with plans on to release its dubbed versions in other languages.
Mahavir Karna is a high budget movie that will be bankrolled by United Film Kingdom on a budget of Rs 300 crores. This high budget movie will be directed by RS Vimal with the technical crew including Shameer Mohammad for editing.
