Anjanaa Rhea Ganeson, a 10-year-old girl from Subang Jaya, Selangor, possesses exceptional singing talent. She has made remarkable achievements in renowned competitions. Currently studying at SK Seri Selangor, Anjanaa excels not only academically but also in various extracurricular activities. In addition to her extraordinary singing talent, she is skilled at identifying national flags and storytelling. Her impressive abilities have earned her numerous prizes in various competitions.

Recently, Anjanaa achieved a remarkable feat in a prestigious singing competition. She won the Silver Award at the World Championship International Competition 2024.  In March, Anjanaa participated in the World Championship International Competition Preliminary Malaysia Round at Segi University, where she won 3rd prize. This achievement led to her selection to represent Malaysia in the grand finals held in Bangkok, Thailand, in June. There, she won the Silver Award, and the judges once again selected her to advance to the International Singing Show at the Beijing Radio Television Station in August. This significant accomplishment highlights Anjanaa’s exceptional talent and dedication to her craft. Competing at such a high level against participants from around the world and securing a top position is no small feat.

Anjanaa has loved singing since a young age. She particularly enjoys Disney songs and can memorize them within just two days. Along with her passion for singing, she possesses an impressive memory. Anjanaa has been participating in singing competitions since the age of six. However, last year marked a turning point for her. She requested her parents to enroll her in singing classes so she could receive proper training and enhance her talent to become an even better singer.

“Last year, she asked us to enroll her in vocal classes because she wanted to learn properly,” said Anjanaa’s mother. “This happened in August when she participated in the Grand Finals of the Pertandingan Lagu Patriotik Bintang Cilik 2023, where she won the consolation prize. The chief judge for this competition was Major (K) Siti Hajar Ismail, better known as Cikgu Siti Hajar, one of Malaysia’s most renowned vocal coaches. She is also a former instructor on Astro’s popular reality TV program, ‘Akademi Fantasia.’ Cikgu Siti Hajar told Anjanaa that she had the potential to become an amazing singer but needed more training. Inspired by this, Anjanaa decided to enroll in vocal classes. As her parents, we supported her passion and enrolled her in October 2023. In less than a year, she has already progressed to grade 3. Her vocal teacher was so impressed with her dedication and talent that she advanced through the grades quickly.

Now, Anjanaa is always excited to participate in singing competitions. Winning or losing doesn’t matter to her; it’s the experience and lessons she gains that enhance her skills. Her only dream is to one day sing in front of Simon Cowell, the judge on ‘America’s Got Talent.'”

Anjanaa has participated in numerous competitions and won grand prizes. This year, she took part in the Sketch Competition in London and won the Gold Award. She also became the champion in the International Kids Storytelling Competition. In 2022, she represented Malaysia in Beijing, China, and won the Gold Award for Identifying Flags with Capitals. In 2023, she represented Malaysia in Shanghai, China, at The Speech of Asia Storytelling Competition and won 3rd prize. Notably, she received the Asia’s Child Icon Award and Asia’s Multi-talented Award from India in 2023.

This year, she was awarded the Malaysia Top 100 Kids Award. Additionally, she is set to receive the award for Malaysia Top 5 National Achiever for Storytelling and Malaysia Top 5 National Achiever for Singing Vocal at Malaysia’s National Stars Award 2024 on August 10th, 2024.

When asked how they feel about witnessing their child’s achievements, her parents said they are very proud to have Anjanaa as their daughter.
“As parents, we are definitely very proud and blessed to have Anjanaa as our daughter. She has faced challenges with strength and grace, and we are truly amazed by that. She is capable of achieving anything she sets her mind to, and we couldn’t be prouder to be her parents. We will always be there for her as supporters, motivators, and friends.”
Anjanaa Rhea Ganeson’s exceptional talent and numerous victories have not only brought immense pride to her parents but also to her country. Her dedication, remarkable achievements, and ability to overcome challenges with grace make her an inspiration to young children everywhere. Anjanaa’s journey from local competitions to international stages showcases her incredible potential and serves as a testament to the power of passion and perseverance. She stands as a beacon of hope and motivation for aspiring young talents, proving that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.
