Raghava Lawrence Praises Dhanush’s Directorial Brilliance and Performance in 'Raayan'

Today, actor Raghava Lawrence took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account to share his enthusiastic review of ‘Raayan’, showering accolades on Dhanush, AR Rahman, and the rest of the talented team behind the film. Released in theaters on Friday, July 26th, ‘Raayan’ has already garnered positive feedback from critics and audiences alike. This film marks Dhanush’s second directorial venture and is also significant as it represents his 50th film as an actor. In ‘Raayan’, Dhanush takes on the lead role, showcasing his remarkable acting prowess in this milestone project.

After watching the movie, Lawrence expressed his admiration for Dhanush’s directorial brilliance. He commended Dhanush’s outstanding acting in his social media post as well. Lawrence noted that SJ Suryah took on a unique role and praised the flawless performances of all the actors involved. “Raayan” also features Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, Saravanan, Prakash Raj, and Selvaraghavan, among others. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, “Raayan” marks Dhanush’s return as a writer-director following his 2017 film, “Pa Paandi.”

A.R. Rahman has composed the music for the film, with his soundtracks and background score significantly enhancing each scene and emotion. “Raayan” also boasts cinematography by Om Prakash, choreography by Prabhudeva and Bada Baskar, editing by Prasanna, and stunts coordinated by Peter Hein.
