Shah Rukh Khan has a massive pan-Indian fan following and needless to say that, people around the world go crazy for him. I mean, we gave him a Datukship title; that has ought mean something.

Shah Rukh Khan also owns a cricket team, Kolkata Knight Riders, and was seen together with Atlee at the match against Namma Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai.

A source said that, Shah Rukh Khan was rumored to be doing a role  in Vijay-Atlee’s #Thalapathy63. It started after both Atlee and film’s producer Archana Kalpathi started following SRK on Twitter at the same time.

However, the team clarified that the King Khan will not be part of Thalapathy’s next. However, the way Atlee and SRK was seen spending time together at the stadium, watching the match and indulging in conversation. Fans immediately started to rise to a new speculation – that the actor might be doing the Hindi remake of Mersal, which was directed by Atlee.

SRK tweeted, “Thought while waiting to go back home to Mumbai….I should for no reason do a Chennai Selfie…so..bye Chennai & all the wonderful friends I met from the film industry & of course the sporting crowd at the stadium. Whistle Podu!!”
