Roshinee Mookaiah wanted a platform to share Malaysian Indian voices. A safe space where people from all walks of the community can share their tales of trepidation and thrills. That is how the Instagram page, Malaysian Indian Anthology was born last year.
Her Instagram handle has since redefined the Malaysian Indian narrative. It is now an exclusive collection of real-life stories with diverse identities and experiences of regular Malaysian Indian folk.

Malaysian Indian Anthology or MA/IN/AN for short, is created with the simple objective of collecting and showcasing real life stories of Malaysian Indians, who often times seem to be left out from larger narratives. This is a space to represent the diverse faces, identities, experiences and stories of regular Indian folk in Malaysia, intentionally and exclusively. We want to collect stories of people like you, me, us.
Malaysian Indians are welcome to email her their stories which she then curates before publishing it on the social media handle.
Since its establishment, the page has gotten a lot of attention from not only Malaysian Indians, but also Malaysians of other races and the global Indian diaspora.
Keep up the good work, Roshinee!
