Still stuck at home, unable to do anything? I believe that scrolling through your phone is a never-ending pit that will not serve you well. However, I always advise those around me to nurture their minds by reading a book.

It’s not merely a means to escape into a book; it’s also a way to sharpen your mind in the presence of this never-ending pandemic.

But don’t worry if you believe reading is an expensive hobby; I’m going to show you a couple of online bookstores that provide both interesting and insightful books at a very affordable cost.

THE BOOK BOX

The Book Box online book store has been fairly popular, and it now has a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books written by Indian authors. Their diverse selection is truly nourishing. Not only that, but they also provide gift wrapping, so you may think of gifting it to a dear friend.

JAYA BAKTI

Jaya Bakti bookstore has been around since 1976, so they’re not new to the game. That was before the advent of online stores and other such things. They are Malaysia’s largest Tamil book publishers and distributors. They occasionally offer discounts on children’s books and schoolchildren’s revision books.

These are the two bookstores that we came across and would want you to check out. Purchase a few and savour the experience. I’m sure it’ll be a wise investment.

Having said that, do you have a favourite book that you’d want to read during this time? Please let us know and make some recommendations on books that other readers might enjoy reading at this time too!
