Raaghav Production has released a statement saying the highly anticipated concert, SPB Live Concert Kuala Lumpur – Mettu Podu 2 has been postponed to the following year, 21st of August 2021. The venue remains the same, Plenary Hall, KLCC. 

In the wake of the recent Covid-19 outbreak, the concert organiser decided on the cancellation amid health and safety concerns arising from the novel coronavirus in the region. SPB Live Concert Kuala Lumpur – Mettu Podu 2 featuring SP Balasubramaniam and KS Chithra was originally scheduled for 22nd August 2020. The event will also feature Drums Sivamani and Suresh Peters.

As you’re already aware, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has led to a need for social distancing to prevent the spread. For this reason, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone SPB Live in Concert Mettu Podu 2. While we know this is disappointing, we hope you understand this is a necessary step to keep each other safe in these unprecedented times and follow the rules and regulations from the Government. We are glad and relieved that the COVID-19 cases in Malaysia is getting stable and reaching to a happy spot but unfortunately not in other countries like India where our artistes, musicians and stage directors are from. We have to wait till the pandemic cases flattens and international travel is allowed. Raaghav Production regret to inform that our concert, SPB Live in Concert Mettu Podu 2 featuring S P Balasubramaniam and K S Chithra will be postponed to a *New Date* on *21st August 2021.* Purchased tickets are to be used on 21st August 2021. Seatings that has been booked in the tickets is fixed. Raaghav Production has organised 2 major concerts previously with overwhelming responses. We couldn't have done it without the endless support from our audiences, sponsors and partners.
