Whenever we talk about SWEETS… GULAB JAMUN is a must!!!
Gulab jamun stands out from other types of sweets. Gulab jamun, or sweet milk balls drenched in syrup, are one of the few sweets that can match the tooth-shockingly delicious sweetness.

Where is the origin of Gulab Jamun?
The simple response is that gulab jamun, which originated in the Middle East, swiftly gained enormous popularity on the Indian subcontinent. Gulab jamun is a treat that can be found in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and even Iran. Gulab jamun has also made its way to Malaysia, where a sizeable portion of the country’s population hails from!

How are Gulab Jamuns made?
Traditionally, buffalo milk is used to make milky sugar dough. Once rolled into balls, it is deep-fried. Afterward, these balls are submerged in a syrup produced from either sugar, honey, rosewater, or saffron.

What flavor does gulab jamun have?
Sweet is putting it mildly. Typically, you may buy gulab jamun from an Indian sweet shop. You can choose to chop and eat them or simply pop one whole into your mouth when they are served to you immediately in a small dish.

However, if you put one full one in your mouth and savour it down, a big eruption of sweet syrup will ensue. Depending on your level of sugar tolerance, it can either be a sweet lover’s dream or overpowering.
