The project will be the second time collaboration between Ajith and director H Vinoth after their upcoming film ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’.
Ajith and Bollywood producer, Boney Kapoor will be joining together for another project after Nerkonda Paarvai, currently dubbed Thala 60.
According to trade sources, Thala 60 will have a racing backdrop and will be shot in exotic locations in South Africa, Budapest and the Middle East.
The film is to be directed by H Vinoth, the project will be the second time Ajith will be collaborating with the director.
‘Nerkonda Paarvai’, is the Tamil remake of the Hindi hit Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu.
Thala 60 will go on the floors from August.
Nerkonda Paarvai, which marks the Tamil debut of Vidya Balan in a crucial role, also stars Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Tariang and Abhirami Venkatachalam.
Meanwhile, the official announcement about Thala 60 is expected to be made very soon. With Nerkonda Paarvai gearing up for release this August, there are already rumours doing the rounds that Thala 60 will be planned as a Pongal 2020 release.
