Dhanshika, who first worked with SP Jananathan in Peranmai, is now part of his Laabam, which has Vijay Sethupathi, Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu in the lead.
The actress, who’s busy with the action thriller Yogi Da, says,
“Jananathan sir asked me if I’d be interested in doing a crucial role in the film. Though I immediately said OK, he wanted me to hear the character sketch. The length of the role didn’t matter to me because he is like my guru. He’s a director who gives importance to the story. So invariably, all the characters will definitely have a purpose. I’ve already shot for a couple of days with Jagapathi Babu sir.”
She has so much of talent. Cannot wait to see how all of this comes together. Shruti will be in a Tamil film after a long hiatus.
