Acclaimed director Mani Ratnam is working on the pre-production of his project ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be part of this film.
The latest news is that Malayalam actor Jayaram, will be joining the team as well!
Though he didn’t openly confirm being part of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, in a recent interview to an online media channel, Jayaram said that he is privileged to be a part of a project in Tamil. He went on to say that that project is in its nascent stages and that he will be playing a bigger part in the biggest film of Tamil film history.
The story thread of Ponniyin Selvan spans years and more than 50 characters. Ponniyin Selvan is jointly produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions.
