Without a doubt, Lakshmi Ramakrishan is one of the only few female filmmakers in the south scene. She is bold and gutsy. She is known for her TV show, Sollvathellam Unmai, where she helps poor families from Tamil Nadu with their life problems.
In that show, she has also shamed men who have behaved indecently. She has made films with outstanding stories. Artistic films mainly!
Some of her films are, Aarohanam, Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe and Ammani. These films critically acclaimed, and now the director is all set to have her fourth directorial venture released.
‘House Owner’ stars Kishore, Lovelyn Chandrasekar and Pasanga Kishore and the movie, which happens to be a love story set at the backdrop of Chennai floods and happening in different timelines, is all set for release now.
Following the release of the interesting teaser, the team has announced that House Owner will be releasing in June and the Tamilnadu theatrical rights of the movie have been acquired by AGS Cinemas. Produced by Monkey creative labs, House owner has music by Ghibran.
