Harish Kalyan’s Dharala Prabhu, the Tamil remake of Bollywood film, Vicky Donor, has made its digital premiere on April 9. Dharala Prabhu is now on Amazon Prime Video, the film’s online streaming partner.
The film is a Tamil remake of Hindi film Vicky Donor. Talking about it, Harish Kalyan said,
“Dharala Prabhu is a new age Tamil romantic comedy that is sure to leave audiences in splits. I have been fortunate enough to be able to work on the remake of a film as highly acclaimed as Vicky Donor.”
He added, “With Amazon Prime Video, Dharala Prabhu will become the latest Tamil film to be premiered on the platform which has viewers across the globe. I am positive that the audience will love the film.”
Written and Directed by Krishna Marimuthu, the film features Tanya Hope and Vivekh in important roles. The film is a light-hearted entertainer that revolves around a happy-go-lucky guy who becomes a sperm donor.
Meanwhile, Harish Kalyan is currently working on the Tamil remake of Telugu film, Pelli Choopulu. The film has Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. The actor is also joining hands with Sanjay Bharathi again for a romantic entertainer.
