Nayanthara, who had earlier worked with Yogi Babu in Kolamaavu Kokila, is all set to team up with the comedian again.

She has been approached to play the lead in a film, which is written by Yogi Babu himself.

The film will be an out-and-out entertainer and it will be produced by SP Chaudhary of 18 Reels Productions, which recently bankrolled Santhanam’s Dagaalty. Interestingly, Yogi Babu will play an important role in the film.

The actor is in talks with young talents in the industry to direct the flick. An official announcement on the project will be made post the novel coronavirus crisis.

Yogi Babu recently concluded shooting his portions in Dhanush’s upcoming flick, Karnan, directed by Mari Selvaraj. The actor is also waiting for the release of a film titled Cocktail, directed by debutante Ra Vijaya Murugan.

Last month, Yogi Babu tied the knot with Manju Bhargavi at his ancestral temple in Tiruttani, Tamil Nadu. He announced that he will be hosting a grand reception in Chennai for his friends in the industry. However, he cancelled it due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara is currently working on a film titled Netrikann, which is produced by her boyfriend Vignesh Shivan. Directed by Milind Rau of Aval fame, the film is said to be the remake of hit Korean film, Blind, which released in 2011. The story is about a blind woman who testifies in a hit-and-run case and is then forced to confront the killer on her own.
