Jyotika’s upcoming film, Ponmagal Vandhal, directed by JJ Fredrick, was scheduled to hit the theatres on March 27. However, due to Covid-19, the film could not see the light of the day. The latest development is that Ponmagal Vandhal will have its digital premiere in May.
Ponmagal Vandhal becomes the first film to have a direct OTT release in the history of Tamil cinema.

Jyotika will be seen playing the role of a lawyer in Ponmagal Vandhal. The film, which has music scored by Govind Vasantha, will feature K Bhagyaraj, R Parthiepan, PratapPothen and Pandirarajan in crucial roles.
