Vijay fans, get your popcorns ready!! The much-awaited and anticipated “Master” has officially made an announcement that it will be released on a renowned OTT platform this coming February!

The movie was a major foretaste for many movie buffs around the globe. Master made quite a notable release in India in conjunction with Pongal, receiving a big turnover in crores in just a matter of days!

As we all know, being able to watch a movie at the theatre simply means we are on the other side of the pandemic! And yes! Since the lockdown has been lifted in India, this movie had a remarkable release in all Indian theatres.

Sadly, our dear Malaysians were left disgruntled as cinema operators are bound to adhere to a strict prohibition from the authorities due to the concerning Covid-19 outbreak.

“Master” was also scheduled for release on Astro First after 30 days of the theatrical release. We reached out to a spokesperson from Astro to clarify whether this will still be the case as it is directly streaming on OTT platform Amazon Prime without a theatrical release in Malaysia. We were informed that talks are taking place with regards to this and there is no concrete confirmation yet as to when Astro First will be premiering “Master”.

So save your dates and enjoy “Master” on the 12th of February on Amazon Prime with your loved ones!
