Not many people know what it feel like to have your wildest dream come true, but Anirudh sure does.
Like many of us, Anirudh also grew up watching Superstar Rajinikanth’s films, and one day dreamed of working with the legend. And lucky for Anirudh, it’s about to happen.
Amidst stiff competition, the 27-year-old music director bagged Superstar Rajinikanth’s next film – which is set to be directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Anirudh will be working with the Superstar for the first time, and it’s indisputably the biggest moment in his music career so far.
“Dreams do come true and how extremely delighted and elated to be scoring music for our Thalaivar, the one and only @superstarrajini,” Anirudh said on his official Twitter account. (You can just picture him beaming while typing out the tweet!)
“Excited to join hands with one of my favourite directors @karthiksubbaraj
@SunTV @sunpictures,” he added.

Rajinikanth’s next immediate movie is Ranjith’s Kaala, which will hit the screens worldwide in April.
