Imagine being shot and directed by the Queen of R&B!

That was the reality for 19-year-old Mumbai model, Naomi Janumala, who has been appointed as the global face for Rihanna’s newly-launched fashion brand, Fenty. Through her makeup and fashionable, Rihanna has pushed for inclusivity in her products. Out of the thousands of models who were casted for the role, Naomi was handpicked by Rihanna herself.


Naomi just started her modelling career 3 years ago and has work with many international brands like Alexander Wang, Adidas, H&M, Nike x Nordstrom, Levi’s, American Eagle, Opening Ceremony x Disney and Matthew Adams Dolan. Since some of the clothes and earrings on the new Fenty line is inspired by sarees and jhumkas, Rihanna wanted an Indian model to represent the brand and pay homage to the community and culture.

We can’t wait for to see all the looks on the Fenty campaign.
