Superstar Rajinikanth Attends Swearing-In Ceremony Of PM Narendra Modi

If there is one thing the BJP and PM Modi are used to is the swimming media attention and celebrities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony was no different.

The swearing-in ceremony was held in the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the presence of 6,000 guests. An invitation was also extended to Superstar Rajinikanth to witness the historic moment.

Rajinikanth announced his entry into the political world in 2017 but is yet to contest in an election. He had earlier formed an organisation Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM). Superstar Rajinikanth was accompanied by his wife Latha and posed for photos with other film stars such as Kangana Ranaut, Sushant Singh Rajput, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani, Anupam Kher, Vivek Oberoi and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Rajinikanth said, “In India after Jawahar Lal Nehru and Rajiv Gandhi, Modi is now a charismatic leader. The election victory is a victory for Modi.”

The 2019 Lok Sabha elections was victorious for the BJP with its highest tally ever at 303 seats.
