Sugu Pavithra – The YouTuber Who Stole The Hearts of Malaysians Everywhere

Do you enjoy cooking as much as eating, like we do? If you are, then there is a certain YouTuber who you’re going to fall in love with!

YouTube channel Sugu Pavithra has been getting a lot of attention from Malaysians from all walks of life. The couple, Pavithra and her husband Sugu may live deep inside Sungai Siput, Perak, but that’s hasn’t stopped them from being one of the most followed cooking channels here.

Thanks to her excellent command of Malay, Pavithra has penetrated the Malay market. The A few local Malay dailies have also covered her story. The homemaker’s recipes are easy to follow thanks to the clear step by step explanation she offers.

Pavithra and her husband Sugu joined YouTube only this year and they have been posting cooking videos since the start. Their channel has grown rapidly and they now have a 39,000 subscriber base with more than 30,000 views on each of her videos. Some of her videos have even exceeded 300,000 views!

Beyond basic how-tos, some of her most popular videos include recipes for Fish Curry and Eggplant with Shrimp Paste.

Pavithra is often candid with her audience, revealing that her mother-in-law bought a tenggiri fish, a treat for the family on pay day.

Pavithra and her family are certainly wealthy when it comes to love. The couple enjoy picking produce from their little garden, shopping at the nearby supermarket and feeding their young sons.

The comments section is a resfreshing change from the racism of our daily political news. With many netizens falling in love with this couple’s recipes. So have we.
