Malaysia’s Covid-19 Sees A Spike Again With 957 New Cases!

Malaysia has recorded 957 cases today, (1st November) as revealed by the Ministry of Health (MoH). However, there are no deaths and imported cases recorded, with 957 locally transmitted Covid-19 cases amounting to 32, 505 Covid-19 infections in the country.

Of these, 22,220 have fully recovered and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.

Malaysia’s cinema operators, or the Malaysian Association of Film Exhibitors (MAFE), have agreed to suspend the operations temporarily at all their national cinemas.

This action will gradually take place on November 2nd, where GSC Cinemas and TGV Cinemas will cease to run, while other cinemas will also suspend their film screenings and concession operations later in the month.

University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Sungai Long campus has officially confirmed that one of its staff tested positive for Covid-19 and will be closed till further notice. The campus stated that the staff last visited the campus on Oct 12. Prior to this, the sanitisation of all associated areas of the campus was carried out.
