Gomathy who has been in the teaching field for nearly 24 years, remarked of her innovation and the sense of accomplishment it brought her;

“Personally, I think it is great and that I’m finally on the right track. I’m living with my heart and doing what I love. My job and invention are both very vital to me. I am genuinely happy when receiving the awards.,” said Gomathy.

A total number of 800 innovators from 360 institutions and countries took part in the prestigious competition. The awards for outstanding teacher and innovator bring great joy to the 48-year-old mother of two girls, who would rather ignite interest in science and environment in her students than bask in the sunshine of world acclaim.
