A 21-year-old undergraduate student of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) was found dead in her hostel room here last Saturday, (21st May 2022).

The death of the second year Bachelor of Accounting (IS) with Hons student came to light after her roommate found Vinosiny’s lifeless body in the room while she was seen wearing headphones connected to her laptop.

It’s very devastating to hear this piece of news as it literally shocks the entire university alumni, friends and definitely her family who just met her week ago.

While waiting for the autopsy report at the moment, Kubang Pasu police chief Superintendent Rodzi Abu Hassan stated that the case been classified as SDR (sudden death report) as the university is still waiting for a post-mortem result carried out at the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Star.
