It is undeniable that more and more women are emerging in leadership roles nowadays, even in some of the most male-dominated industries.

With that being said, meet Karel Doshi who was recently named as the new Head of Commercial Banking (CMB) in Malaysia by HSBC. Karel’s appointment will be effective from today (1st July) as well as she will be based in Kuala Lumpur.

HSBC has played a key role in the growth and development of Malaysia’s economy for more than 130 years and continues to be a strategic growth market for the HSBC Group, offering significant opportunities as an international investment hub and a springboard into Southeast Asia.
