Unfortunately, my career came to an end on a bittersweet note, but my love for sports and the country never faded -Soman Roy

The 24-year-old who spent 17 years as a karate athlete, served at the national level for 8 years stated he’s grateful for the opportunities and people he’s encountered along his remarkable journey.

Speaking to Varnam, Soman said “I learned many general matters in relation to being a sportsman. Living as a sportsman is not easy, we have to sacrifice many things to be at the top. Personally, I gained many criteria to understand myself as a sportsman,”

Soman who is a personal self-defence trainer said, “I am immensely thankful to all my colleagues who have trained with me all these years,”.
