Astro Brings Back Malaysia’s Most Watched Local Tamil Series – Pasanga for Season 2

Malaysia’s first local Tamil series with 100 episodes premieres on 12 August, 9pm on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202)

Astro is excited to announce the return of its most-watched local Tamil series, ‘Pasanga’, for a highly anticipated second season on August 12 at 9pm. Tune in on Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202), or watch via Astro GO, On Demand, and sooka. Season 2 of ‘Pasanga’ marks a milestone as Malaysia’s first local Tamil series to reach 100 episodes. Directed by the award-winning Shalini Balasundaram and produced by the renowned husband-wife duo, Denes Kumar and Ts. Dr. Vimala Perumal, this season promises to deliver more captivating content.

‘Pasanga’ Season 2 continues the story of the trio—Raja, Jaga, and Anand—as their lives are disrupted by harsh realities. Raja’s world is upended when his parents fall victim to the schemes of a malicious individual named Kumar. Forced to leave Kuala Lumpur, Raja returns to his hometown, accompanied by his sister Vithya, who is struggling with the traumatic memories of her past. Upon their return, Raja finds himself entangled in a series of challenges orchestrated by Thirupathi, Kumar, and Kathir.

Meanwhile, Jaga, a filmmaker, focuses on advancing his projects while harboring feelings for Reshma. At the same time, Anand faces mounting tension in his marriage with Geetha, as her close relationship with an old friend creates friction between them. As the series progresses, the characters navigate through strained relationships, escalating financial difficulties, and personal struggles. This evolving drama sets the stage for a gripping and immersive storyline that is sure to engage and captivate fans.
