Astro has just unveiled the top 16 contestants of the highly popular local Tamil reality singing competition, Big Stage Tamil Season 2. These talented individuals have successfully advanced to the quarter-final round following a fiercely contested battle during the heats round. A round of applause for the top 16 contestants, who are Berma Chandra, Ruhan, Yassaskaran, Chaaruhasne, Jeevanraj, Thesyalan, Unnitheivan, Nittyan, Nishadevi, Nehsan, Ramya, Shirley, Devaswara, Yoshiny, Thivya and Lachman.
Big Stage Tamil Season 2 is dedicated to discovering fresh local talent and motivating aspiring young vocalists to pursue their dreams. The season features Yugendran Vasuthevan, an internationally acclaimed playback singer, actor, and song composer. The panel of judges includes prominent vocalists from the local music industry, such as Dr. Burn and Preetha Prasad. Additionally, the esteemed local music composer, Jay, will persist in providing guidance to the contestants as they refine their vocal abilities in preparation for the intensified competition in the forthcoming rounds.
The competition is sponsored by Cuckoo, and the winners will bring home the following Cuckoo
goods in addition to exciting cash prizes:
• Champion: RM50,000, Cuckoo Grande Water Purifier and will get an opportunity to be a
Rocketfuel Entertainment talent;
• First runner up: RM25,000 and Cuckoo U Model Air Purifier;
• Second runner up: RM10,000 and Cuckoo P10 Pressure Multi-Cooker; and
• Consolation prizes:
o 2 contestants from the Grand finale (round 2): RM5,000 each; and
o 2 contestants from the Grand finale (round 1): RM3,000 each
